I absolutely loved doing this book nook, it was sooo cute! I love the old-world library vibe with this one. All the cabinets and books are beautiful and that record player is just the coolest.
It’s funny with us builders, it’s the little things that can seem insignificant to others that just bring us happiness. It sounds silly but the light shade was one of those things. It was so well designed and looked great put together. I’ve had issues with lampshades looking messy in the past, so this was just a joy.
What I also love is the gentle touch light that turns all the lights on. It really makes it easier being at the front, and the lights just bring it all alive.
I didn’t have any problems putting this together, it was definitely a relaxing build which I thoroughly enjoyed. Hope you do too x
This is such a beautiful and cozy kit. It makes me want to have it in real life as a quiet corner to cozy up with a blanket, a book and a cup of coffee or a cup of tea
It was a really relaxing build to do Sue @Suzanne_Jones. Only thing I would suggest is to use some glue in some spots, especially the blanket and the bear. He wanted to keep laying down with the tape strips
@Jo_Zanella your book nook loves lovley ! A beautifull build im so glad you enjoyed putting this together and had no messy laymp shades ! it very cosy !
I totally understand! I was fixated on the simple Tiffany lamp in the Library of Wonders! I almost hate when people look at kits, do not even pick them up and look. Missing so many details!
@Jo_Zanella this Quiet Corner Study review captures exactly why tiny details matter so much. The lampshade, the record player, the front touch light, and that old-world library feeling all come through beautifully. It is wonderful to hear this one felt relaxing instead of fiddly.
