Is this my workspace or my play space? Honestly, I’m not always sure anymore. 
Over the years, this little corner has slowly transformed into something that sits somewhere between a home office, a miniature museum, a collection display, and a cozy escape. Every shelf is filled with miniature kits, collectibles, photos, and tiny treasures that hold special memories. Some people see clutter, but I see stories. Every piece reminds me of a build I enjoyed, a challenge I overcame, a gift from someone special, or a happy moment shared with my kids.
One thing I’ve learned is that a creative space doesn’t need to be perfect to inspire creativity. Good lighting helps reduce eye strain during long crafting sessions, keeping tools organized saves time, and surrounding yourself with things you love can spark new ideas when inspiration runs low. Creating a space that feels comfortable and personal can make a huge difference in how much you enjoy both work and hobbies.
What surprises me most is how much this space helps me recharge. Whenever I start feeling tired or mentally drained from work, I find myself looking up at my miniatures, turning on a few lights, rearranging a tiny figure, or simply admiring a finished build. A few minutes later, I feel refreshed and ready to focus again. It’s like having dozens of tiny reminders of creativity and happiness right in front of me.
Sometimes I sit down to work and end up admiring miniatures. Other times I start crafting and completely forget I was supposed to answer emails. At this point, I honestly can’t tell where work ends and play begins, and maybe that’s exactly how a creative space should feel.
This little corner is where ideas are born, tiny worlds come to life, and some of my happiest hours are spent.
