Today was my last day of Easter holidays here in Spain, and I’m not going to lie… I’m a bit sad to go back to work tomorrow. It really feels like the days just flew by, and I didn’t get to do half of the things I had planned. 
At least this morning I managed to sit down and build a little more of my kit. I’m so close to finishing it now, which makes it even more frustrating that I didn’t quite get there… I really wanted to complete it before going back to my routine.
From tomorrow my schedule gets busy again, even in the afternoons, so I’m not sure when I’ll be able to pick it up and finally finish it. I guess I’ll have to find little moments here and there.
Still, I really enjoyed the time I spent on it today. I worked on some of the interior details like the teapot with the rope base, the little gift, and the flowers, which gave me a bit of nostalgia, because I remember when I had to cut every single petal and leaf by hand!! It’s funny how some parts bring back those memories heheh
I also finally started working on the trees and adding those tiny leaves, which I absolutely love. And the little amulets… I didn’t expect them to have actual messages on them! Such a small detail, but so thoughtful and charming.
So for now, this is where my Plum Garden Prayer will stay. Almost finished, but not quite yet… I really hope I can get back to it soon and show you the final result!

I’m definitely loving all the little details! Just look at the base for the teapot! 
I used to struggle and had to use lots of glue too. Some changes in these newer kits are very welcomed! 
The ornaments are all beautiful. I’m kinda sad too when our Semana Santa holidays were gone since those were only the times that I can rest.
