I have never seen a limit on posts…(or comments)…even though I’ve noticed some commenting on nothing…Not even on their own posts…with absolutely NO understanding of WHERE that response is coming from…or where ( to whom) what comment? they were responding to. @jeanneL
weirdly I have gotten if you post under a topic a certain amount of times and others arent responding or something like that. It has happened to me once or twice. Not often.
Oh…okay. I understand what you are saying…so yes. I have seen that a couple of times. @jeanneL Like on contests. You can only reply to a certain number of people at once.
Yea, Like I said, only happened twice that I recall and it said I needed someone to reply to me before I could post more. Something like that
This is true. So sometimes you will not understand what or where are those comments coming from. So in ending, you’ll not just reply. Haha
I agree on some of your points…but I am also a fan of limiting likes…AND posts. One post a day is plenty in my opinion. @Orangesareus . It doesn’t matter how long or how active of a member someone is…one post a day is very sufficient.
This is really a good topic, specially we have score system.
It’s understandable as well that everyone wanted to join and win.
At the end, it will still be up to you and what would be the best for the community.

Ummm…if only that were the case with others…HAHA! They’ve already received points for doing so. Ridiculous! @Anje_Leonoza_Mira
I have noticed that and I think you have mentioned this in the past as well and I think I figured out why. If one person is reply to my comment, I will get the notification on that particular one. So if you didn’t get notification and your name is not mentioned then it’s not for you. For example: person A make a post, person B comment, person C replying to person B comment then person B will get the notification. So even though it is under the thread of person A post but not really direct to them then it’s for the other person. A lot of the time people comment without seeing name being tagged is because they are replying. I hope that make sense.
I wasn’t talking about posts, I was talking about likes. Please re-read if you don’t mind.
The only thing I mentioned about post, is that people that do not have enough Quality post should not be given an unlimited amount of likes.
to be clear:
I haven’t found anyone’s frequent posting to be annoying enough to feel that posts need to be limited. I’ve only been here for about three months, so I don’t yet have the same perspective as someone who’s been here longer.
If that day does come, I have the option to mute or ignore members that doesn’t align with my interests ![]()
That never happen to me may be I wasn’t posting thing too quickly.
Now I understand your statement if points are taken away (after re-reading) Thanks you…but I am still a fan of limiting the number of posts a day. @Orangesareus
I don’t really mind. I do like the idea of having limits on the number of likes. I see the likes as earning a recognition. Not so much of points. And likes should be earn.
I have another suggestions. Some times likes (hearts) can be seen as an acknowledgement. So is there a possibility to have more emoticon function?
For example: Thumbs up
.
And so we can leave the thumbs up for likes. And because of this, for likes you can remove point redemption on it.
- heart
: we should leave it for those post and comments that are truly deserves it. And hearts should have points because they earned it.
Just a suggestions but whatever you have decided doesn’t worry me. I can share more ideas in depth tonight if you like.
I agree with limiting posts to one per day, especially since some people are just posting for the sake of earning points.
For me, a more genuine approach would be:
- Limit the number of posts per day
- No points for giving likes
- Points only for receiving likes
This way, we can freely share what we truly feel without spamming likes just to accumulate points.
I edited it my response, I get it they can get annoying lol
there’s options for us to limit interactions if it feels something is off lol
Truth be told, points are enticing to receive, But Quality post is required to receive the actual rewards. Thats what I wish can happen in the future. Quality over Quantity!
so yes I may post random
some days but I know they wont be considered for anything, I am okay with that
the post is for my own happiness.
This is also a nice suggestion.
There is always room for improvement so I’m positive it will only be better not worst @Orangesareus.
I think it’s about time for the new implementation @Robotime.

So they should do at least 10… Anyways happy posting everybody! We will all figure this one out ![]()
…but you’re not posting 3 times a day…If something needs to be posted…you have 30 days to do so. Maybe I should have stated 30 per month…instead of once a day…LOL! BTW I can’t wait to see your final reveal of the ship. It is going to be stunning!
at least ten of high quality…but no limit on the number of posts otherwise…That’s where I get frustrated.
