👍 [Pro Tips] Paper tricks and tips

Here are a few tips I’ve learned during my crafting journey.

It is important to pre-fold all of your seams before you start adding adhesive. This will give your creations a good shape.

It can be tedious but it will make things go much smoother in the end.

Flat tweezers can be helpful when trying to fold super tiny pieces. It’s easy to line up the seam on the edge of the tweezers and get a good straight fold.

Double sided tape is generally the easiest to work with. It creates an instant bond and doesn’t stain or seep through the paper material. (Notice all the seams are pre-folded as well)

Definitely way easier to use tape. I the back of a pencil to press the seams together for good bond.

Thank you so much for sharing these tips, they’re really helpful. I actually did a very similar post a few months ago, so it’s great to see we’ve learned the same little paper tricks along the way!

It’s great when people take time to share their knowledge. I wanted to add these tips to my build posts but I didn’t want to digress too much from the kit. So I combined them into one. Hopefully that way people who are looking for paper tips will be able to find them.

It’s the way to go with most paper items.

Thank you for the share. The double sided tape sounds much easier than. glue. Looking forward to trying that on my next build. :+1:
