Sorry I didn’t have time to take the photo and I’m not home to do so. Will have to be when I get back.

I’m running it on USB-C

Thanks for the information. My cuckoo runs on batteries. Hopefully, it will continue to work well without any problems.

I find battery work well but you have to change the battery frequently. The same battery i took it out from the clock it works well for other small builds but for the clock might not be enough. I wanted to safe to hassle so I plug in the usb-c

Em… currently my Cuckoo Clock is fine for it… or maybe because it with the dust cover  Anyways thanks for your tips! :two_hearts:
But I have the others advice, I highly recommend to use the USB instead of BATTERY! If you’re using battery, after a while (maybe few day) the bird will be stay in it room and hibernation  even thought press the hidden button…

Mine was good from the start. After 3 months then I notice the noise.

That’s such a clever fix!

In my case, I actually just leave those pieces as they are, properly fitted and aligned, and it works fine for me. But I love your cushioning idea, super helpful for anyone dealing with that noise!

I think the cushioning is a lot easier to amend compared to trimming.
