I can definitely relate to that. Good engineering and clear instructions add a lot to the overall experience for me. When everything fits well, I can spend more time enjoying the build instead of trying to figure out what went wrong.

I always look at the price and the brand as well. If it’s a brand I really like and it’s a little higher price, I don’t mind paying for it as much because I know the quality is going to be amazing. If it’s a brand I never tried before; I’m a little skeptical on the cost and if they are the original manufacturer or not. Thanks for sharing tho I really enjoyed reading this!!

I have a love /hate relationship with the kits that involved so much work. Scussirs and total DIY. As far as the price is concerned, they are definitely a money saver because they will take you so much longer

I totally agree! The more kits you build, the more you understand what feels worth the price for you. Sometimes it’s the quality, sometimes the details, and sometimes just how excited you feel to start it.
Wow, that’s a lot of boxes. For me personally, I just check if the kit is a good deal and if I’ll enjoy building it. I currently have enough kits in my backlog to keep me building for a while so I haven’t been actively searching out any new kits.
I feel the same way. Once I build a brand and have a great experience, I’m much more comfortable paying a little more because I know what I’m getting. It definitely takes some of the guesswork out of choosing my next kit.

A healthy backlog definitely helps take the pressure off buying every new release. Mine keeps me busy for quite a while too, so I can wait for the kits that really catch my eye.
