Someone on the forum once asked, “How do you use the empty Roboitime product boxes?” and back then I replied that I just store leftover building parts and other little things in them. But now I’ve come up with an idea for what to do with the boxes from the figurines! Since they have such a beautiful design, I thought why not cut out the images and use them to make a collage?
This way, the boxes can serve not only as packaging for the figurine but also as a piece of art.
I made my collage on a page in my sketchbook. I wanted to give it a warm, autumn-inspired look with shades of brown and nostalgic feelings. To create it, I used old photos I had printed five years ago but never used, pieces of wrapping paper, stickers, clothing tags, and of course, the cut-out Nanci.
In the photo, it’s me with my longtime friend. We were inseparable back when I lived in Kazakhstan. We haven’t seen each other for six years now, and I miss her a lot.

And now a question for you! Do you keep journals or make collages? Did you have this hobby as a child?
These are beautiful such a lovely way to keep memories and also remember Rolife builds. How I wish I can make journals, I have bought several stickers and washi tapes already but never had the time to start.
I totally agree with you. My chaos shows on the walls in the form of paintings, and on the shelves as various figurines, puzzles, and candles. But in all other spaces, I try to keep things minimal and tidy.
That is a very smart idea and I quite like it. It brings back a lot of childhood memories. I used to do a lot of collage with all different pictures from my excursions when I was still in school.
This is such a clever idea! I personally put them in my scrapbook Thank you so much for sharing! Ill have to try a collage then put it in my scrapbook!
That’s so cool! In my childhood, I used to make collages only from my little sketches that I drew in my school notebooks. I also remember how my dad and I used to glue dried leaves into an album and write down the names of the plants.
That’s so wonderful that you were into music in your childhood!
Actually, I’m connected to it a little too. Of course, I didn’t play the violin like you (it seems like such a challenging and impressive instrument!), but I used to sing a bit. My mom is a vocal teacher and arranger, and when I was little, we used to record covers of children’s songs with my voice. Such warm memories… But now I’m a bit shy to use my voice.
