Oh no!!! This happens to me … a lot!

It’s one of the hazards of the hobby I suppose. It was pretty funny having a vase stuck to my finger though.

Funny … but ouchie

I honestly try to avoid unless necessary because I end up with more on me lOL

@Suzanne_Jones this is a painfully useful warning. I am glad you managed to rescue both your finger and the little vase, and the tweezer approach for the second try sounds much safer. Superglue really does have a talent for finding the one place it should not go.

@micromagic16 laying the piece flat or propping it so gravity cannot pull the glue into the wrong place is a really helpful tip. Tiny parts make superglue feel even more unpredictable, so that little setup habit can prevent a lot of trouble.

I still remember when your son (my husband) glued his hands to the chair, and then glued together!!

Yes, well. Now you know where he got the genes for doing this.

@Lbfairhall welcome to the community! That superglue memory made us smile, even if it probably was not funny in the moment. Family build stories have a way of becoming classics.

Welcome to the community!! Sue does a great job with these builds and glad you are joining too!
