Oh goodness. I am not familiar with this one, but if you have to make the plants, I wish you much patience. I don’t like making plants, yet I have done 4 garden themed models…
@Suzanne_Jones
It’s a mini but it’s time consuming - making plants, scissors and other small items. There is nothing worse than going looking for a micro bead that jumps out of your fingers ![]()
I totally understand. I sweep my floor daily (now) because of these models…Not that I need to…but I HAVE to …searching for a part…LOL! @Suzanne_Jones
A special experience that Rolife has brought me is joy. I discovered them about a year and a half ago. I saw one and thought it looked cool and wanted to add to my bookshelf. I became addicted there after. But I don’t do a lot for myself and making these booknook kits has brought so much joy into my life.
I’m probably a level 2 now and hoping to be up to a level 3 and maybe expand beyond booknooks. The pinball machines is definitely on my to do list, it looks amazing!!
I would consider myself a level 2 for skill, and i just joined the rokr community, however , I have completed many of the puzzles so far and I thoroughly enjoy them
Started building the marble run kits (not always Rokr or Robotime
) and it got a bit out of hand. Level 3 now and trying to find the most difficult kits. Which is not easy, because I built a few.
My latest kit was the Seahorse Barque.

First off, welcome!
I did one kit in August and was hooked. I joined here in early September. Since that time I have completed 31 kits. I have 4 more waiting! I am only on hold for a few days because I am babysitting! Otehrwise I would be building them!
I had never heard of book nooks before and after being given a robotime mini, I went to purchase another and discovered the Silent Corner library. I couldn’t resist and completed it in 1.5 hours. Looking at this build brings me so much joy and after seeing robo-community members add their own special touches: I customised my BN by painting the table, added coffee to the cup etc that it now sparks so much joy to look at, I’ve bought 4 more book nooks by robotime! Robotime has bought back my creative spark and given me a hobby and a community I really enjoy. Thank you.

I do not even think I can put into words how these puzzles impacted my life in the best way possible. I’ve only started venturing into 3d wooden models in late 2025 when I stumbled upon the music box during my birthday. Since finishing that kit, I’ve purchased 2 more (Classic Printing Press and Tower Bridge). While crafting, I’ve had to deal with being more patient and having more determination as some parts can be challenging and frustrating, albeit this is my stress reliever. After completing the kits, I display them on my desk as a reminder that all will be well because each piece or experience in my life plays a role. As a stressed high school student, these kits served as my solace as I’m able to dissappear for a while, away from uncertainty. My little cousins also admire them as I do which warms my heart as I was also able to influence them to start a few simple kits. I’ve also discovered the Robotime Community who were helpful and welcoming (they highly remind me of a Filipino concept or tradition, bayanihan, meaning unity and cooperation within a community). Only as I’m writing this have I realized my most meaningful memory with robotime - learning appreciation for time, simplicity, and beauty in creating. I can confidently say I’m an intermediate when it comes to assembling kits, but I aim to be advanced as I just ordered 2 new kits (Space shuttle and violin) in which one of them is a bit more complicated than the last. I hope to create more with Robotime when they finally have an offline store here in the Philippines (or if I win one of their giveaways (:>))
A special memory I have (there’s a bunch lol) was a recent one I just had! A Rolife store just opened up in my local mall…. Me and my best friend are huge Rolife fans but she moved away two year ago… it’s been so hard not having her close but she came to visit around the holidays and one of our planned dates was to go to the new Rolife store! It took everything to not go before she came haha but I waited and it was so worth it…. We spent the most amazing 2 hours browsing, laughing, taking pictures, and of course shopping. We both bought a few Nanci blind boxes and a set to build when we got back home. We ordered food that night, put on movie and had so much fun opening our blind boxes and putting together Elsa’s Tailoring shop! One thing I love about you guys is how you bring people together to make some of the most magical special moments…. Rolife will always have a special place in heart! ![]()
Id say I’m about a lvl2 right now…. Hoping to improve more this year and work on the harder sets!
I just started my builds & I’m super excited to start seasonal ones I can pull out for the holidays! Right now I’m loving the book nooks! I have begun to fill up my built in book shelves!
I began this hobby during the Covid lockdowns in 2020. I have always been obsessed with miniatures, and once I discovered Rolife and Robotime, that interest very quickly grew into a passion.
Last year was particularly challenging, due to ongoing work stress, a late ADHD diagnosis, and family and financial pressures. During that time, this hobby became a source of purpose and stability for me. When I step into my craft room and sit down to work on these kits, everything else fades away. I can’t fully explain the sense of calm it brings. My mind quiets, I relax, and for a while all of my problems disappear.
Every night I escape into my craft room, spending hours building and modifying my creations, losing track of time and always stay up late into the night. Completing a kit brings a deep sense of satisfaction and excitement, and reminds me that I am capable of creating something meaningful. This hobby has given me far more than finished pieces. it has given me focus, so much joy, and, in many ways, life. I am very eagerly awaiting for the new log cabin kit to be available in Australia, already imagining how I will make it uniquely mine.
Level 3
They bring joy to everyone who gets the privilege to experience these wonderful models. I hope that you are able to pursue your dream of doing the pinball machine. @Vigusj
Thank you for sharing. @KellieS I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said. I too love creating these and customizing them. I just finished my cabin . Completion of my A-frame Cabin (aka Fishing lodge)
