Time to finish this fun build! Building the TIE Fighter itself was surprisingly short, I think about 45 min to an hour perhaps. Time to show what I made of it!
Very nice! In my early years, when star wars first came out, I ran the toy department. We had all the little characters. I think one fighter would have fit in there!
I wish! I was literally in a position to collect each one. But the store put some rules in place so I never did. I dont know if you had these but I was there the first time cabbage patch dolls came out. OMG people were fighting literally in the aisles for the doll
I guess I was too young for that to happen, 1985 child here I do not have any toys, especially of that era, but I do have a metal and fully functional lightsaber (nerd). Plus I also visit Dutch Comic-Cons, but not as a SW character
I think I have seen a documentary at some point on Netflix that the toys were consistently sold out and the production of these was not enough to satisfy demand, which explains why toys like these are so wanted nowadays
