@Niels_Tempel I felt the need to reply. Please know that when you add to your initial post such as you did, we do not always see it. if you didnt tag someone, it can get lost in the 100’s of other posts. I was with my Uncle these past few days as he passed. I was not on my ipad perusing the many replies. If you are looking for responses, consider making a new topic. This comes to peoples attentions much more and you have a better chance of getting replies. I saw this because you tagged me from initial response. I do try to read posts but today I had over 75 and so may just skim through a few. But a new post… I always look at.
So please do not feel discouraged. Start a new topic and you will find more feedback.
Hoping this helps and you feel a little better!
By the way, I also built the Seahorse and Titanic. Absolutely loved both as they are beyond elegant and well awesome.
I have never done Ugears so unsure if I would attempt the Star Wars ones! But I am of that era and can certainly appreciate the wonderful job you did!
First, my condoleances to you regarding your uncle and thank you for your reply.
Second, my own reply was not meant as something personal to anyone here as all of us have our personal lives and such. It was more about me taking the time to personally reply to everyone who replied before and taking quite some time to take pics of my builds, and talking about them. That’s all. I also wanted to keep it in this particular topic to not clog up the forum with even more topics.
So yeah, kinda made me feel discouraged ![]()
Hello! Welcome to the community. I hope you can share your knowledge and expertise from building a miniature. Enjoooy!
I felt bad that you felt bad! I want others to love this community too. and I want you to experience the support and benefits! Even if you kept them as you did but made it a new topic, I guarantee you would have had alot of notice and replies. and honestly, recognition for a job well done feels good! Please stay as an active member! That is what I wanted to express.
Thanks @Niels_Tempel
Soooo, should I make a new topic with my builds I have made so far then? Because that just kinda felt weird for me to do lol.
It’s not like I am looking for likes, replies etc. I just wanted to keep it into one topic. ![]()
You should definitely do as you move to a new build. If you wanted to go and start a new topic and call it my builds thus far, then feature them under that. Some people do one for each build, but space the new topics apart a few days or between builds.
If you want feedback, then clump them in one new post/topic.
I want to be sure you feel like a valued member! and know we really do enjoy seeing what others have done. and those star wars ones especially could inspire someone!
Hoping this helps!
Already did lol
You have some beautiful builds there and of course good to share. I also did the Seahorse and the Titanic. I can just say I was in awe of both once finished!
