I’m really struggling at the moment. With my broken finger and my hand not working properly, I can’t do any of my little builds, and honestly it’s making me so sad. Sitting there looking at my kits and not being able to create feels miserable and lonely. Building has always been my happy place, my comfort, and my way to relax my mind.
I’m feeling a bit lost and despondent without it. Has anyone ever gone through something similar? Or maybe has ideas of little things I could do while I heal? I’d really love some suggestions or encouragement, because right now my heart feels a bit heavy
I’m sorry to hear about your finger. How long would it take for it to get better? I hope it is really soon.
I would suggest for you to take break and focus on healing first. Perhaps, you can cuddle your cute cat when you feel a bit down.
Sorry to hear about your hand. I understand the sadness for sure. I had to use the time away to reset and discover new hobbies as well. But as I’m sure you know nothing really compares lol. Hope you heal soon
I’m really sorry you’re going through this It’s completely understandable to feel sad and lost when you can’t do the builds that bring you comfort — they’ve been such a big part of your happy place.
I am so sorry to hear about your hand. Maybe a jigsaw puzzle amongst the other suggestions above. You really have a lot of options given. I hope you heal soon
@MsMinky im sorry about your finger id be lost to ! I hope you reacover soon ! @sasa suggested a lego build maybe ?? Or diamond artvor a puzzle ot maybe a few crosswords ?
Aww Keri I’m sending you another big big hug! And lots of love! I hope you feel better and recover soon.
Like others I think jigsaw puzzles are a good option! You can use your non dominant hand and it wouldn’t require a lot of force. Plus you get to frame it after you’re done!
Sorry to hear about the finger. I hope the surgery went well for you.
Everyone has great suggestions for you. Did you know that Rolife have jigsaw puzzles? Hobbyco in Sydney have them.
