So I had a couple of hours to continue building some more with my magical cafe and it is going really well.
With the golden flower it meant to have a hole in a middle for me to put the Metal rod through and this one doesn’t and I’m sure that’s the right piece. I don’t know how to make the tiny hole that is just big enough for the rod to fit through. Anyone have any ideas how I could do that?
@Nectarines would you mine sharing what you have done for this particular parts?

Is the metal relatively soft maybe you can do a little cut with an exacto knife? But otherwise I’ll leave it to the expert to answer it lol. 
It’s going to be very tough to make that hole now. I would have used an ice pick or something before bending all those tabs. Hindsight…but I hope someone can help.

I didn’t make this kit but guess I would just punch it with a push pin.
Mine had a hole. I would get a nail and a hammer and punch a hole in it that way I think. It’s looking good! You have made some great progress

Looks great so far @Tricia12 , I love that step ladder!! Sorry I can’t be of help with the hole, i haven’t done this one. I’d say use an awl or nail.

The metal is pretty hard. I didn’t realise that there must be a hole but my doesn’t after I bend it. So for me to try to do a hike I will bend it back to flatten it first before punching the hole.
push pin might not be strong enough.

Yeah I will try to find the smallest nail to see if it works.
Hopefully that will work for you. otherwise a very tiny drill bit?
These builds are so interesting! That is unfortunate it doesn’t have a hole…. I think a hammer and tiny nail might be best as others have said… if the metal was softer an awl might work!

It is odd that your’s had a hole and Tricia12’s didn’t. 
That is difficult. I hope you find a solution. What you’ve done is looking very good.
Unfortunately I think it would have just been one of those things where the hole has been missed on this one and then no one realised while packaging the kit. Im not sure what these little gold parts are actually for but I would guess they are bulk manufactured and so just an error there. A little inconvenient for Tricia but pretty easily worked out hopefully
