My Pocket Theme park(Not Rolife)

Just finished this tiny theme park. “Starlight Amusement Park”- by CUTEROOM

It’s pretty cute. I like that it is portable. But I can’t say that I recommend this kit because it really puts you through a lot. I like kits that have a lot of things to do but it needs to be reasonably possible. Some of the cutouts are way too small and have blurry printing. Everything is just glossy paper from the back of the instructions. It’s not ideal for me.

If you enjoy this kit, that is ok. I just wouldn’t personally recommend.

I think I will appreciate my next Rolife extra.

The glossy paper not working out for me.

It lures you in with it’s colors and cuteness but then it punishes you. :sob:

I don’t hate it. I just won’t be attempting another one of these for a good long time, if ever.

There are other kits I would enjoy much more. :slightly_smiling_face:

Oh it’s tiny but cute! I think you did a great job :star_struck:
I had made something similar in the past and it made me appreciate Rolife so much more.

Hey!! I’ve also done this one!! :star_struck::blush: It is very tiny, and I agree, I’m not a huge fan of the glossy paper that Cuteroom builds usually have! Your build turned out great, you did an awesome job with all the little tiny pieces!!

Very well done! I bet you feel really accomplished even though it was punishing. Very cute indeed; there’s no way I could do something so tiny.

It’s really nice to hear from someone else who attempted this. I feel like you understand where I’m coming from even if you had different experiences. Or the same. It’s ok. It’s all valid.

And thank you. I put a lot of work into trying to make it look nice.

That is encouraging to hear. Thank you.

I bought it for about 8$. It was very inexpensive. That’s all I can say other than what I’ve already said. If you do buy it. You shouldn’t pay much.

You could potentially use some of the materials for other things. Like the tin, or the plants or the wood shelves and buildings. If that is what you are asking.

The wiring has to be build almost from scratch.

Wow, that is tiny! Turned out super cute though!

Thank you very much.

Thank you. I am relieved that I was able to bring it all together into something cohesive.

What I meant is the wood thick or flimsy and breaks? I have tried some cheap kit before and they breaks so much and I had to glue a lot of the pieces so I didn’t like it.

The wood was not flimsy at all. All those pieces come unattached. Usually when I break wooden pieces is it when I am separating them off the board. They are thick and can handle stress.

The worst parts of the kit is it’s over reliance on bad paper pieces. The front name plate is a good piece to make from paper. But the background was cut out of the manual and they tell you to string lights behind it. It isn’t good. You cover a lot of it. But I can point out all the bubbles and creases from the lights running behind paper.

Dispite all the set backs and quality issues you did a amazing job. But like you said I’ll skip this one.

I just learned about these and I am so obsessed. I have four different ones coming (Cherry Blossoms, In a Happy Corner, Starlight Amusement Park, and Roaming in Paris). The first one should be here on the 10th or 11th. I am so excited to try them.

Good luck! Who knows, maybe you will find them super enjoyable. If you get stuck, let me know, I’ve probably already dealt with any issue you come across with these.
