Yes, I’ve been once in Chinatown for a celebration, it was suuuuper!!! That’s why I love it so much! Right now in Poland we have more Vietnamese Town, but their celebration is a little bit different and harder for me to understand.

Oh really…? I never knew Vietnamese celebrate CNY too…:rofl::rofl:

Well, they do not celebrate CNY  Chinese New Year, it’s just a commercial name because the holiday is based on the Chinese calendar. They celebrate the spring festival = the lunar new year. Vietnamese people call it Tet.

P.s. Maybe there is someone here who knows better as im not an expert anyhow :face_with_hand_over_mouth: this is just what I know

haha, understand… In Malaysia we commonly call Lunar New Year as Chinese New Year, my habit  In China it should be call as Lunar New Year  I think so… but I didn’t realize that Vietnamese also celebrate this  @ThaoNguyen Nicole~ how Vietnam celebrate Lunar New Year…? is it same crowded…? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Vietnam also celebrates Lunar New Year. We have days off during that time and gather with family. We go to temples, attend spring flower festivals, and participate in many activities.

@Kit_Mun_Ngow Vietnamese celebrate Lunar New Year. Yes it falls on the same day when the Chinese celebrate theirs because we use the lunar calendar. Vietnamese have a very similar culture as the Chinese.
