Motor not working on Marble Spaceport/Night City/Link Pack

Previous post on this had some helpful suggestions, but my additional requests for recommended next steps have not received any replies. So I am re-posting this topic in hopes of getting some help. I bought the three kits together, which have worked well for a few weeks and then stopped. I have taken the belts off to see if the motor was in automatic shutoff (which one respondent suggested I try). Only the lights work, but the motor is not working. Clips are secure in the circuit board. Should I replace the circuit board, motor, or both? Or is there something else to try? If replacing motor and/or circuit board is recommended, please let me know how to order. Thanks in advance for your help. –Cal

I have done both models with great success…but honestly after seeing so many people say they had issues that I chose to never do so. Sorry I can’t be of help. I’ve seen others order bigger motors before but honestly can’t say they were successful afterwards. I hope that someone is able to help you with this.

@Robotime Any idea how this could be fixed?

Hello there, Did the motor exhibit any abnormal behavior when powered on? Based on your description, the motor may have malfunctioned. We can provide a replacement for you.

The most common issue with this model is that excessive friction prevents the motor from functioning properly. When the circuit board detects excessive jamming, it triggers the protection program, which shuts down the unit automatically.

No, there was no abnormal behavior prior to shut down. One day it just quit working. I took the belts off to see if the motor would start up again when there was no resistance, but it still did not work. I will order a new one. Should I also order a new circuit board?

Thank you.
