To my family Christmas is all about getting together with family members and just having a great time and enjoy each other company. We will be hosting Christmas lunch at our place this year. It would be a fun day for a nice BBQ.
Before I Christmas hits, what my sister and I usually do is volunteering at an organisation called Fare Share and we help prepare and pick too for those that are less fortunate than us. Hopefully with our little contribution will be help the homeless to have a decent meal.
We are fortunate to have food on the table, a roof over our head, but there are people out there that doesn’t have that. So part of my prayers during the festive season, I wish everyone will have the warmest festive period this Christmas wherever you are in the world.
Your wishes are wonderful. The past year has been a difficult one. My country has just experienced a major flood; people have lost their property. Crops have been destroyed. Therefore, I am truly grateful that we still have a comfortable life. Wishing you a Merry Christmas!
I have seen what has happened in central Vietnam and many other regions. It breaks my heart. My relatives are in South of Vietnam which they get a lot of rains. I tend to go back to Vietnam every year to visit and help people where I can. I hope your family is not affected and stay safe. Has the floods and storms over yet?
Thank you for sharing your story. It’s inspiring to hear how your family cherishes Christmas together. Small acts of kindness like yours make a real difference.
We’re sorry to hear about floods. It’s heartening to see your compassion and efforts to help others. Wishing you and your loved ones a warm and peaceful Christmas filled with hope and happiness.
