I’ve been with my mother for the past few days after she had a fall. It’s been emotionally draining because her dementia has become worse. She has moments of lucidity and then times she asks me who I am.
Yesterday we had to send her to hospital. So, I sat at the hospital with her until I knew their plan.
Then I drove 2 hours to come home to my own bed.
On the happy side, I have mail!!
I bought these from Japan and I’m really excited about the Taste Life kitchen because it completes the set for me.

I am so sorry to hear about your mother’s condition getting worse. I am happy that you had a bit of good news (mail) upon your arrival back at home. Which kit will you be doing next?

Thankyou Sasa. I work with people with dementia every day. I have a degree in Dementia. But when it is your mother then it hits hard.
I bought the kits through Buyee.jp. One kit came from Mercari and the other through Amazon.

Yeh, she deteriorated unfortunately.
I have one more mini store to do so I can complete my set. I’m waiting on something for the garage (I hope it fits), so I’m not sure if I will do Moomin or one of the mystery kits but have here.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. 
My mom had a bad fall a while ago too, and had to undergo surgery twice, so I know how emotionally draining it can be caring for someone you love. Sending you and your mum lots of love.
On a happier note, I’m so jealous of your Taste Life kitchen! I gifted one to my sister, so I’d love to have one for myself too.

I understand; my mother is going through the same thing with her own mother. But hey, you have the advantage of having that qualification; it’s hard for us to deal with this illness—we’d never seen it before until we had to face it ourselves. Thanks!

Thankfully my mother had no breaks or fractures but she has uncontrolled pain. It is definitely hard.
I’ve been searching everywhere for the Taste Life Kitchen because it is hard to find these days. I hope you find it soon.

So sorry your going through this stressful time. And, I’m sorry your mother is going through a scary time. Hopefully, with some TLC from the hospital staff, your mom will get better and be home.
The kitchen is cool. But, the origami swans are amazing! I have never seen them before! I can’t wait to see you build them!
