I apologize for not being so active last month. Life has been so hectic. I miss you all!
Finally, after eons, I have completed this kit a few weeks ago. I am not so happy with the outcome, and I plan on redoing all of this when I have the time and energy to address the issues that I have with this kit.
I love the sofa. Since it is an old kit, you need to build everything from scratch. It turned out pretty good and I felt I was in the groove. Piano was ok. The plants were fun to make (you know that I love plants). But that’s it. No more fun after that. LOL
The stairs are a nightmare to make. I had to use another material to cover the steps. Now, looking at it, the color might be too bright. I broke the thin wood that holds the light. I hate the candles too. The railing was a nightmare!
@joy.licerio honestly you have done amazing and its completely diy ! Some stairs can be a nightmare … but the couch
Looks great i love the color… and sometimes life work and family are important its nice to see you back xx
Oh Joy, that’s kind of sad that you don’t like it. I agree that your couch is amazing. Maybe putting the build aside and think about what sort of build that you would like to make. Maybe give it a theme? And then approach it with a new outlook.
I think you’ve been a little hard on yourself. Even if it wasn’t your favorite build, I can still see how much care and effort went into it. I especially love the sofa and the plants! Sobrang cuteeeee!
I actually think it still looks really nice! But I completely understand that feeling when a build gives you too many little battles and you can only see the parts that annoyed you.
This looks like a super challenging build Joy. I applaud you for completing it. The living room area looks beautiful. You’ve done such a great job on the couch and all.
I hate wire works so I don’t blame you with the railings. Those really need more time and patience.
