OMG I LOVE the Shannara books. And you are right, it does have that feel to it. It was Ilse Witch when they were introduced if I am remembering correctly.

Now you’ve got me. I’m really not certain although I own all of them. Even got my first edition Sword of Shannara signed by Terry. Wish I’d thought to get a photo at the time.

I’m sorry to hear you were held for ransom but you have to admit that these kits look awesome! I especially like the Lost Ruins and the Future Pirate Ship. I don’t think I’ve ever seen those kits before.

I know I have a signed book of his around, but I have not unpacked by book boxes since my last move as I also have digital copies. I am pretty sure it was Sword of Shannara that I got signed, but it certainly was not a first edition. I’m jealous. LOL

I was new to this meeting authors gig and thought it would be rude to ask for a photo. Sadly, he hadn’t been back to Australia and with old age possibly won’t.
btw I am now the proud owner of a PS2 combo.
Yeah, I was suprised he sat and signed books for as long as he did as his hands were very shakey.
Oh congratulations on the P2S. Its a great machine. I my mum one for her 70th birthday back in June and she has been printing non-stop.

I haven’t even taken it out of the box yet. I have only bought two filaments- white and black, and I have a 0.2 nozzle and clear filament in order. Just taking it slow to start.

The 0.4 is comes with will be fine for most things. I recently printed 1:24 scale books. Swapping hot ends on the machine you got takes 30 seconds. The one I have takes about 5 mins so they really improved on that with the P2S.

Everything I’ve read about making figurines says to use a 0.2 hot end so I have ordered in that will be here at the end of the week.

In that case, yes the 0.2 hot end is best. It will take longer, but will allow for a bit more detail. The other main thing that changes quality of a print once you get into it is layer height. The smaller the layer height, the smoother and more detailed the print will be, but at the same time, the longer the print job will take.
