When building this part of the gramophone, I noticed the system does not work as ratchets tend to go towards the center. Has anyone experienced this issue? Thanks

Oh dear, I only built this one a couple of weeks ago…and I don’t recall this part…LOL! If that’s what the directions show, just go with with. Welcome @Piks7 Their instructions are top notch.

Welcome to the community @Piks7! That looks a bit tricky indeed — I haven’t build this kit myself, but maybe @CustomerService could help you figure out what’s going on with the mechanism. I’m sure they’ll have a good solution!

Hi 
Without installing the P23 part, this position can’t be fully secured. Please align it with the pattern, install it in place, and then attach the P23 part on top.

Thanks a lot to all of you ! I indeed also installed P23, the thing is that the rachets will still go towards the center when the piece is held vertically. But I guess it acts as a clutch and the centrifugal (spin) force would push them out to engage? Thanks again and sorry for my late reply
