Ideas for the future

Hello,

I buyed this wright brother’s airplane model a long time ago from a chinese builder (don’t know the name of the manufacturer), with a discribtion, that was very adventure like.

Very difficult, but lot of fun, quality not so good (needs lot of glue and parts splinter).

But it looks amazing and perhaps you find potential in this.

looks great

The idea of hanging it is brilliant.

Hanging your builds does look cool.

You might also want to check out the gravity swing kits ROKR has.

That reminds me so much of my
own childhood when we would hang mobile playthings up on the ceiling! Hanging kits would be cool!

I know the gravity swinging kits, but that is not, what I mean.

That is beautiful but yes I could see how it would be fragile!

Yes, you have to glue all parts and with the curves, it needs lot of time to finish it. Very fragile and very small pieces.

That one does appear to have a lot of parts. For the splintering…it might help to remove parts using a razor knife and lightly sand them afterwards.

Thanks for sharing this with us  That sounds like quite an adventure of a build. Even when the quality isn’t perfect and it takes extra glue and patience, finishing something challenging like that is really satisfying, and it’s great to hear you still had a lot of fun with it.

Wow it looks intricate with lots of parts but hanging it up on the ceiling is so cool! :100:

Incidentally, I used fishing wire for hanging it so that it wouldn’t be so visible.

I think I commented on your introduction post how much I like this. I couldn’t build something so fragile I don’t think.

Also an idea for the future are these Nook Books as a train compartment.

I saw it from Tonecheer, looks amazing, but the price is very “special”.

Hope, you can bring something like that on the market. Perhaps something in Hogwarts style as a series with different scenes per compartment.

That sounds like quite the experience! :airplane: Even if the quality wasn’t the best, it’s great that you still found it fun and challenging to build.

I like the fact that you hang it up. It looks pretty cool

That looks really impressive, especially knowing how challenging it was to build. I can definitely see the potential there. Thanks for sharing this idea!!
