I love when I find a great deal. I got this kit from an online hobby shop for 10$, with shipping included! It’s brand new and sealed. (I won’t buy secondhand sets.)
Looks like are really neat kit too. It has a lot going on for being just a mini scene. There is even paint and glue. I love how complete miniature kits are. I’m curious to see how long this one will take.

The best bargain i have gotten on a kit was i got two cathys flower house for $18 AUD each down from $70AUD. The girl had them out the back and told me they were recalled because they were missing a piece but she couldnt tell me what piece and they scanned at $18 in their system. I bought one for me and one for my friend. It was right when i had first started, i think it was maybe my 3rd or 4th kit.
I built the kit and nothing was missing and i found out that the store probably made a mistake because there was a recall but from a long time ago and these kits wouldnt have been affected. The store must just have not had it updated in their system for some reason.

Cathy’s Flower house was actually the secondhand kit that I got burned on. I bought it online and it looked good in the photos but when it arrived it smelt very strongly of cats. I tried to air it out for weeks. Put the whole kit in baking soda and I couldn’t get the smell off.
Ended up tossing it and buying a new one. Only saved a small amount buying the second hand kit, too. The buyers remorse was strong.
This is such a cute little kit. I often go to second hand stores and just browse around in the game and puzzle section hoping to come across something like this but I never have. Excellent find
This is a cute little kit! I recently just bought all the little kits from this series, but haven’t started them yet. I’m not a bargain shopper lol, I just buy what I want , if there’s a bargain it’s just a bonus.

I like to think I will be lucky enough to get a good deal some day there really isn’t much second hand sale around me. But the stores do go on sale from time to time.
