We’ve just finished the Fireside Music Night. It’s cute and small and my mom loves teddy bears. However, they made an odd choice to power it by turning a handle on the side. It’s stiff and hard to move smoothly, but you have to keep it going or the music and movement stops. No adjusting seems to make it beter. Has anyone else done this kit?
That sounds like such an old fashioned thing. It’s a bit like a jack in the box then.
Yes, I think that was the idea. You need to glue everything down. When the teddy bears move one hits the drum and will knock the top off if not secured. I tried what I could, but the turn arm is still stiff. It turns and you can keep the music and fireplace going with some effort, but I think this one will be just for looks.
