How I Keep My Miniature Papers, Sheets, & Fabrics Safe 💯

Hi everyone! Hope your day is going great.

Just wanted to share a quick organization tip for heavy DIY and complex miniature kits! To keep things clutter free and easy to find before pre-sorting and building, I use this clearbook to store papers, fabrics, and thin sheets.

Look at how well it organizes the papers before cutting! Less crumpling, and finding what you need is a breeze.

I also store fabrics right next to their patterns to keep them clean and wrinkle-free, and I do the same for acrylic sheets to protect them from dust and scratches.

Honestly, this clearbook has made my building process so much more convenient!

I’d love to know, what do you guys use to organize your papers and sheets, especially when you have a lot of them? How do you keep it hassle-free?

This is such a clever idea! I love how everything stays flat, clean, and easy to find. It would definitely make working on older DIY kits with lots of paper and fabric much less stressful. Thanks for sharing this tip,I might have to start using a clearbook for my more complex builds too!

Good for you i just pray that i don’t spill anything on it, or slice it up by mistake, or drop my glue applicator on it thanks for the tip though

Actually, that’s the best part about having the clearbook the sleeves will actually protect your papers from any accidental spills or glue drops. You just take out what you need when it’s time to slice, so everything else stays completely safe!

That’s really great @micromagic16 Actually it can probably work for the thinner sheets of wood panels, too. I’m just really lazy when it comes to putting things back … so now you can probably imagine how messy my craft space gets

@micromagic16 that’s some organized skills you have there. Normally I just a tray for small parts and a magazine holder for panels and paper sheets. But If this helps you stay organized nobody can fault you! Especially if it helps someone else !

Ohh yes, I’ve actually tried using it for the thinner wood panels too, but you’re so right, sometimes it really is a hassle to keep taking them out and putting them back. And they say a messy craft space is just a sign of a highly creative mind, so you’re doing great!
