As almost all the parts in these kits are made of wood? What do you recommend for keeping moisture out? Do the little packets in shoes you buy will suffice? Is there a procedure to ensure little to no damage will happen? Extremely worried as these kits cost a pretty penny.

I’ve never seen this question before…but it is a good one. Those little silicone packets sound like a good idea and I’ve seen them in every kit that comes with a light or motor.

You can use cover box or huminity machine.

I have never used these things. But they should work. Also depends on the humidity in your house.

I think you can store them in a cabinet or acrylic glass to make them safe. Avoid placing them directly to the sunlight. I guess. ![]()

The environment we get here in Melbourne is pretty dry so I don’t have that issue. I just keep it away from direct sunlight.
