I’m Joanna Lu, and I’ve just joined the Robotime team here in Suzhou this April. So I’m thinking to say hi to everyone in this warm, lovely and creative community ~~
A little bit about my background:
I was born in Suzhou (yes, local from Suzhou!), but have spent the last 9 years in the US. After graduating from NYU and living the fast-paced life in New York City for almost three years, I decided to move back to my hometown. While I loved the NYC energy, the comfort and stability of being back in Suzhou is exactly what I was looking for, and joining Robotime felt like the perfect next step.
I’m a huge music fan—I love going to music festivals and listening to everything from indie to classical. I also play the piano and occasionally enjoy composing little pieces.
Also, I’m the the “Cute Hunter”. I have a huge soft spot for all things cute, if it’s adorable, or has that quirky charm, I’m obsessed!
I love being out in nature and exploring new things, but I also find immense peace in the focus of assembling puzzles. It’s like meditation, but with a beautiful reward at the end. So much fun to explore!
Recently I’ve been working on this Sunlit Farmhouse Kitchen Miniature House. To be honest, it’s my first time assembling the parts in a miniautre house… let me know some of your advice!~
Welcome Joanna. I hope you enjoy you time with the Robotime and the international community. I love that you are working on the farmhouse. That is definitely on my Wishlist.
Like you, I love many genres of music.
Thanks for introducing yourself.
