Help with making a Cactus…

UPDATE: Yeah… the flu has gotten the best of me, turns out the cacti are just wood pieces that already come in the kit and the green paper if for a wire cactus :melting_face::woman_facepalming:

I’m currently battling the flu and the copious amount of cold medicine has maybe caused me to temporarily lose my mind, but I am just entirely confused on how these cacti are created….

Am I accordion folding each tiny little oval to make the spikes and then glueing them together? There are ovals of various sizes, i assume one size fits each of the individual cacti. (Don’t know how many cacti I make of each of one, i’m thinking 1 but I have no idea)

Any help is appreciated!! This is the oxygen oasis kit! I’ve done almost 90% of their kits and haven’t came across this, looks like they might’ve changed how they made their directions since 2024

I haven’t are this before sorry. But if it were me. … I’d trash the paper and go to the craft store to get miniature plants :winking_face_with_tongue:

You do the pieces back to back by folding them in half. I have not done this one yet. It is in my stash…but I’ve done a few in other kits. I am hoping this one is the same. Best of luck to you.

The plastic cactus part is ready-made, so you simply need to dip it in. I’ve done this and have illustrative photos; you can find them on my page.

@Rowan_Briody ive done some paper plants but not these ones honestly i hate making them and i buy plants of shein but good luck !

Are you pasting the paper over something to give it shape? I’m not sure what else is in your kit.

Oh no, I hope you feel better soon! And honestly, I can understand the confusion because those tiny ovals are not exactly self-explanatory. I haven’t built this one yet, but hopefully someone who has can explain the cactus assembly before the cold medicine takes over completely! :heart:
