Hii!! I really would love some help with the Cuckoo clock assembling. I did the first part of the building and I was testing to see if the bird would work. It chimes but it won’t move forward through the window. I checked and I feel like I did everything correct but it still not working. I believe this mechanism is the part where it goes wrong but I followed the steps for that part so not sure what I am missing.

Could you show a photo of how you’re fitting the piece into place? In my case, at first it didn’t work well because everything wasn’t fully fitted in correctly yet. Maybe with a photo I can help you a bit more. I’ll show you how mine looks:

Yes what @Wenbare says. That piece has to be securely placed. I remember finding a small magnet while cleaning up kits, but I never did find where it should hace gone! So @ThaoNguyen please take a pic and let us know where the mystery magnet goes. Mine does work without but you never know!

First, check the alignment of these white gears. This will help the bird perch slide out smoothly.
And this is the magnet I was talking about. When attached, it’s the green part as shown in the instructions.

I stuffed up with this part too. So when I figured it out, I have to push the brown part down. You will see the spring will push it back up. That’s when it’s correct.
