So… Big day! I got a major promotion today to executive director. I feel very blessed, but also stressed.
To help relieve that stress, I started the London Marble Run! I have been so excited to do this one. It’s what my wife gave me for Father’s Day. Originally, I wanted to paint it. BUT… I’m so stressed that I don’t want to ruin it. So, I’m leaving it natural and just using it to help relieve my stress.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m very pleased and excited about my new role, but I’m taking on something that the previous director nearly destroyed. I’m confident I can right the ship, but it is a daunting task.
This build will be more therapeutic than any other build I’ve done!
Congratulations on becoming Executive Director!! Sounds like a massive job ahead, but if you can handle complex builds, you can definitely right that ship!! Happy building, hope it brings you all the stress relief you need

Congratulations on your promotion! I understand your apprehension about taking on something challenging, but everything will be fine. They wouldn’t have selected you for the position if they didn’t believe you could handle it. Oh, and that’s a cool kit. Have fun de-stressing.

First of all, congratulations on your promotion. That is such an amazing accomplishment. I hope that it all goes well for you. The London travel Marble run is an amazing build. I loved every minute of it. Just be sure to send and wax anywhere that would will be rubbing against wood. Enjoy!
