[Heartwarming] Remember when …

Remember when we had a whole conversation about penny farthings?
Well, in my travels I saw this today at a historical museum and thought about you all.
So I had to share.

And.. I also took a photo of one of the old typewriters.

You know what I find so fantastic about Robotime is being able to relate our builds back to actual history.
I also found a display filled with dolls houses and a train set complete with diorama. If you like, I’ll share pictures of those tomorrow.

We already have typewriters. Hopefully, we’ll have bicycles soon.

We have the penny farthing bike already in the Cheers Bar and Dining. But I’d love to build the bike as a kit, although it could be very fragile.

Oh, I forgot. Thank you for reminding me. However, I still hope to have its own model.

@Suzanne_Jones omg yes please i love doll houses ! Your photos are great to ! What a fab day out ! How interesting xxxx

I think I started the convo because of the cheers bar. I had no clue that a penny farthing was that bike! Always thought it was money of some sort!

@jeanneL oh i see yes i suppose some people may think it was money ! :cherry_blossom::blossom::cherry_blossom::blossom:

They do indeed. This was just one of a large display.

Isn’t it great how accurate the designers are?

You’re welcome Joy. I hope your children like the photos.

Absolutely, although I already find it incredible that a kit with those characteristics exists.

Oh, they do! I just need to prepare a little bit of explanation to feed their curiosity about the old “stuff” , hehehe
