[Heartwarming] Product Review: Rolife London Tour Bus and Family Fun Time

We did it!!! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

A few weeks ago, I shared how excited I was to win the Rolife London Tour Bus from Robotime’s Joy of Building Memories contest and how I wanted this build to be something special that I could share with my kids. Today, I’m happy to say that our London Tour Bus is officially complete! Yey!!!

What I thought would be a simple model kit turned into something much more meaningful. Cia and Jerice became my little building partners, helping me find pieces, follow instructions, assemble parts, and celebrate every milestone along the way. Cia took charge of reading the instructions while Jerice became our official piece finder, making the perfect little building team. There were moments of concentration, a few funny mistakes, lots of questions, plenty of laughter, and so many proud “Look what we made!” moments. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Watching them work together, solve little challenges, and get excited as the bus slowly came to life reminded me that the best part of this hobby isn’t always the finished piece. Sometimes it’s the time spent around the table, creating memories one tiny piece at a time. :yellow_heart:

One small challenge we encountered was identifying some of the pieces on the red boards. The labels can be a little difficult to see against the red background, especially in certain lighting. Surprisingly, this became one of our favorite parts of the experience! We turned it into a scavenger hunt, calling out piece numbers and searching for them together. It added an extra layer of fun and plenty of laughter along the way.

What we loved:
:check_mark: Beautiful finished display piece
:check_mark: Excellent detail, especially the interior seats and classic London bus design
:check_mark: No glue required
:check_mark: Great family activity that encourages teamwork and patience
:check_mark: Fun building process with lots of satisfying milestones

What to keep in mind:
:small_blue_diamond: Some piece numbers on the colored boards can be a little tricky to spot
:small_blue_diamond: Younger builders may need adult assistance with some of the smaller parts

The finished model is absolutely stunning and looks fantastic on display. More importantly, it gave us hours of quality time together. Watching the bus slowly come to life while sharing laughs, solving little challenges, and celebrating each completed section made this build far more special than just another model kit.

Now our London Tour Bus has a special place in our collection, not just because it’s beautiful, but because every part of it reminds us of the time we spent building it together. Thank you, Robotime, for this wonderful prize. The London Tour Bus didn’t just become part of our collection; it became part of our family’s memories.:oncoming_bus::sparkles:

:star: Rating: 5/5 for family fun, display value, and memory-making!

Thank you so much for your kind words. Seeing their excitement throughout the build was honestly the best part for me. What started as a model kit quickly became family time, teamwork, and lots of little moments that I’ll always remember. I’m so glad the review was helpful too. I wanted to share the full experience, including the little challenges, because those details are often what other builders are curious about. And you’re absolutely right, this London Tour Bus is much more than a finished model on a shelf now. Every time I look at it, I’ll remember Cia reading the instructions, Jerice hunting for pieces, and all the laughter we shared around the table. Thank you again for following along on our building journey, and happy building to you as well. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

@MamaNheza this made me smile so big. What a great time!!! The build looks great. Also what a great way to get kids disconnected from the internet and sit down and create instead of receiving lol. Way to go!

Awww thank you for reading @Nita_Davis yes, the best part was the scavenger hunt

Thank you so much! That really means a lot. One of my favorite parts was seeing the kids so excited and engaged throughout the build. In a world full of screens, it’s wonderful to spend a few hours creating, problem-solving, and making memories together. The finished kit is special, but the time spent building it as a family is what I’ll treasure most.
