It has knocked me around a bit. I slept most Monday and today will have a quiet rest day.
I have realised there is no way I can do Monthly meet ups.
So I have decided to try bimonthly ones.

Yes that is true.
Unfortunately on Tuesday night my Ma was found unresponsive on the floor at her home. My daughter and I drove up as she is 5 hours away from me. When we got here she was in ICU, they said she had pneumonia and sepsis. Then yesterday ( Wednesday) they intubated her as she was agitated and pulled out a cannula.
She is a tough one so I’m hoping she pulls through all of this. I’m not sure how long I will be up here.

Unfortunately Ma has been intubated, she has influenza A, pneumonia, sepsis and a collapsed bottom of one lung.
She will be in ICU for the next 10 days then hopefully we have good results with antibiotics and fluids as well as the sedation, she might come through.
This is very confronting

Keri, I am glad they know what they are dealing with, as I said before, prayers for healing for your Mom. This is tough and difficult. She is your mom. 
Be strong for her as well but take care of yourself too.

Thanks Jeanne. I am driving home today to go to my Dr as my asthma is playing up.
Ma is in the best place. I will drive back up in a couple days. I can ring whenever I want to hear how she is going
