I’ve made a little bit of progress on this little Coastal house or whatever you want to call it. There are some really cute things in here. I just made a little cat bed and a swinging chair. There are some really cute things on the shelving unit as well. I redid my couch because I was unhappy with the seams being on the top of two of the cushions.
I took in a bit of nature in today while walking around the property I am currently at. I counted at least 70 ducks that were waiting to be fed and I noticed these vines creating hearts everywhere. It was so awesome to see this in nature because I was very happy to see the friendships formed throughout the community. I really enjoyed seeing @Lucia_Anderson 's post about meeting up with @Minus_88
and @Liset.
On another note, I have noticed an extreme drop in the amount of community interaction here … topics created and comments being made as well. Long ago, there were discussions of removing the leaderboard and if that has happened, it has certainly affected the interactions here. For those of you who are still participating in the group, I applaud you.
@Nita_Davis love the sofa for sure! It’s gonna be great! Thanks for sharing your nature view. Very relaxing! I haven’t noticed a drop but that may be just me. I know I have been super busy at work and haven’t been on as much as I’d like. Maybe it’s just a seasonal thing as people go on vacation?
Thanks for your kind words @Grey74 That sofa was a sonofagun, for sure. You have been one of the few that I DO see to be active. We all have vacations and it IS 4th of July weekend here in the US. We are a very small portion of the members globally. The number of topics being made has dropped drastically since the Leaderboard has not been reset…with no explanation why.
It is something that is a concern to many ( I believe), but they don’t care to voice an opinion. I can see that many are not posting out of fear of getting no points for doing so. Some who post often have completely disappeared for days. @Grey74

Personally, I’m a lot less active in the community precisely because of the leaderboard. There were so many nonsense posts that I just couldn’t keep up with it all anymore. I hope the leaderboard gets discontinued.

Thanks so much @Liset . Yes, couch cushions were made using little pieces of wood with two pieces of felt, then the fabric. I totally get what you are saying…BUT if the Leaderboard goes away, activity will be too slow, I believe. I don’t think there is a win-win solution.
