After building the Red Camellia and Lilac, I knew I wanted more. I was excited to work on this sunflower. It looks so bright and cheerful to me.

Compared to the Lilac, this one was much easier. I finished it within an hour. I also picked up a candle and tried waxing for the first time, which really helped. I wish I had done that with my previous kits :grin:

My Grade 10 son saw the finished piece and asked if he could give it to a classmate, since his moving up is scheduled next week. He said he wants it to be a little remembrance. Of course I said yes and that I already expected it that’s why I bought 3 of these sunflowers. :sunflower:

Overall, I love this golden yellow sunflower. It’s easy to build but brings so much joy.

It’s a beautiful sunflower. And sometimes it is just fun to do a less time-consuming kit in between :smiling_face:

@Minus_88 Agree! Sometimes we need this easy build before doing something more time-consuming. Also, I need to fix my display cabinet first for my new incoming kits :grin:

This turned out so nice and I’m glad things went a little smoother for you after the lilac. It’s great that you have started using the wax and I hope it helps you to have less problems with breakage. I hope you have a wonderful Easter
