I admit, my dad built planes (shared pictures before) and I had the Red Baron’s. Unfortunately it fell and broke. Broke my heart.
They are made out of Balsa and a special paper. I had never built these so could not replace. I am always looking for something that I might be able to do so I could have a nice memory.
Anytime some one mentions an aviation model, I have to look!
I recognized wing parts on Nita’s picture. I just knew!
I am so excited to see the finished product and may consider this build. It holds so much for me!

Maybe an airplane? I see what looks like wings
It’s not easy at all. I’ve had to glue quite a few pieces already that I am having a hard time fitting in place…so then I sand them and they are too loose. This one has been a battle, for sure. Not what I expected for 186 pieces. I thought this would be easy-peasy.
You’re right. I initially left them as they were, but they kept falling off. So I decided to glue them back on.
Yes, these are truly scary movies. Horror at its best…if there IS such a thing…LOL!

It’s me, young person, I definitely did not know what it was referring to. I was like “that’s cool, painting it after some historic war plane!” 
It’s embarrassing to say that I thought Rocky Balboa was a historical figure for awhile.. my husband is in his early 50’s and he was just like “wtf”?

Eek is right…lol! @mchipman I thought I was getting a break by going to such a small number of pieces and only a couple of colors after the Gear Ball Challenge. That is SO not the case with this one.

Oh dear…YES! 110 percent YES! The pieces are so small…and they are hard to fit in place…so if I sand to insert without breakage, then I have to glue. This has occurred NUMEROUS times. There are more glue spots on this one than there fish in the sea. @Suzanne_Jones

I know, right? Although… I don’t know if you’ve watched the last one, which actually takes place earlier in the movies, and in which they kind of try to humanize him. As they like to do with every single villain nowadays
