My leftover materials have saved me many times. My advice is don’t hold onto your boxes and instruction books for more than a couple weeks after finishing. But keep extra materials because they will likely come in so handy.
I keep all mine organized in one box so it is easy to find things.
I always save my instruction booklets because if somebody is having a problem, I can easily look up what step they’re on and maybe offer a solution.
Great idea, i keep all of mine too! I also keep my instruction booklets but its just because if my hoarding/collecting tendancies its not for any real reason ![]()
That’s so great. Thank for share
I always save my instructions and some of the left over pieces.. always nice to have extra stuff incase you mess something up and need spares!
I’ve never gone back to any of them.
I keep everything
but that’s bc I love the boxes too but I think it’s about time I throw things away to make way for new ones.
Yes, keeping the extra materials in the box makes them so much easier to find later and really helps with future DIY projects. Thanks for sharing such a helpful tip! ![]()
Me either! But i just cant throw them away yet haha
Thanks for sharing. I kept all my instruction booklets in 1 box and all spare parts in another box.
Just in case it might be needed down the track. I tend to throw away those instructions that comes in a big piece of paper. it is just tedious to look at.
I always save the left over parts, i save them in a old box from a kit. I often throw away the booklets, on this community I can find almost all instructions in PDF format
Totally agree! Leftover materials can be real lifesavers!!! I also keep mine organized for that exact reason! ![]()
I also save most of my leftovers. It saved me 2 times on my current build already
Yep as everyone else has said, I save mine. I was saving by kit but I have done too many so I started combining things
