👍 [Good Question] Tag - thoughts Simons coffee

I have decided my next build will be Simons Coffee! This is one of the few robotime kits I have managed to get an older version of and I’m really excited to get started

I would love to customise this a bit, I will likely paint and change some colours up or maybe add some wallpaper. I don’t really have a theme or anything in mind yet, I think I will have go get it all out and decide as I go!

If you have built this kit please share photos in the comments for me! I would love to see any customisations of this kit too

This is a nice kit. I’m guessing since it is an old kit, you will have to make everything from scratch right?

Yes I don’t mind wire work, I like the challenge thank you so much! I’m really so excited about the piano. There are a lot of kits with musical instruments but I haven’t managed to make any with an instrument yet lol

Out of all of my builds I got millers garden and simons coffee as old style right when I started buying them. I bought the last few old style ones from two different spotlights, one was 1.5 hours away but I had to check what older kits they had haha we don’t have anynore stores that sell them though, just those two which are all newer stock.

So I have had this one for a while now just waiting, I knew I wanted to customise it but I didn’t feel confident customising much yet when I first bought it. I have customised a few now though so it’s time!

I will of course! A few more spaced between updates than my last build

I am not sure yet! I might have to hunt around for something small or look at designing something to print.

I’m a bit stuck though, I was thinking something like this with lemons

But maybe I will try and think of something more coffee shop related.

What sort of wallpaper would you do?

Have you tried keeping an eye on eBay? People sell older kits on there. There was one I actually imported from a seller in Australia, the Wooden Hut one DGM03!

I actually never use ebay I kind of forget about it! That’s a really good idea though, thank you! I will for sure check it out after the Christmas chos calms down!
