I’ve bought this through Amazon as soon as I finished my first build and they work out pretty well. I basically searched for “dust cleaning for model” and went along with something that looked appropriate.

Put them in a glass cabinet, or in the acrylic cases Robotime sells!

I live with the dust and blow on them sometimes  this is a good idea though. Cheap make up brushes would be perfect :ok_hand:

I’m an old, lazy man..lol
I keep them mostly in cabinets to avoid the dust problem.
But they still get dusty after a awhile and some aren’t in a display cabinet.
So I bought this. It’s pretty cheap and it Vacuums or Blows the dust away.
It has adjustable settings so it won’t vacuum up a piece of the model.
Works Great.

That’s my next step
I hide them in a storage space at the moment but I can’t wait to get a glass cabinet so I can display everything.

To clean dust from models, the best methods involve gentle, non-abrasive tools to avoid damaging delicate parts or paint finishes.

Tools and Techniques

Tool Usage Notes
Soft-bristled brush Ideal for dislodging loose dust from surfaces and intricate details. Large, soft makeup brushes (like blush brushes) or dedicated modelling brushes work very well and are gentle.
Compressed air Excellent for blowing dust out of hard-to-reach crevices and tight spaces. Use short, controlled bursts and hold the can upright to prevent propellant release. An airbrush with the pressure turned down also works well.
Microfiber cloth Good for wiping down larger, smooth surfaces. These cloths are electrostatically charged, attracting and holding dust without scratching the surface.
Dampened cotton swab or cloth For stubborn, caked-on dust or grime. Dampen slightly with plain water or a mild soap solution (lukewarm water with a tiny drop of dish soap). Test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure paint/decals are sealed and won’t be damaged.
Keyboard cleaning putty Can pull dust off intricate areas effectively without strong pulling power. Avoid on very spiky models where bits of putty might get stuck.

Of course, you can choose the display box from ROBOTIME, click here you can find them.

I usually use soft brush to dust off the model. Besides, mini handheld vacuum is useful

These are a great idea if I ever choose to dust mine

Ugh, if I didn’t have cases, and cabinets for mine, it would be too time consuming to dust by hand lol. I honestly think I need to just invest in a dust free hermetically sealed room at this point!:rofl:

I’m such a fool, because since I’ve got everything glued down, I just blow the dust away :joy::joy:
But yes, I also use brushes like that to clean it sometimes hehe

Great idea but I don’t think that would work for me with little tiny pieces. So I will but it in the glass cabinet or a case. But for larger parts, this could work.

I purchased 1 mini hand held dust vaccum and it is absolutely useless. Please share if you got one that work like how it should be.

I might give this a go because the one that I purchased are very similar and it can only blow but not sucking up the dust. So annoying.
