元宵节 · The Lantern Festival
The Lantern Festival marks the final day of the Lunar New Year celebrations. It falls on the 15th day of the first lunar month, when the first full moon of the year lights up the sky ![]()

Lantern Viewing (赏灯)
Streets and parks are decorated with colorful lanterns of all shapes and sizes. -
Guessing Lantern Riddles (猜灯谜)
Riddles are written on lanterns, and people try to solve them… This is a tradition dating back over 1,000 years! -
Eating Tangyuan (汤圆)
Sweet glutinous rice balls symbolizing reunion and togetherness. -
Festive Performances (舞狮子、舞龙表演)
Lion dances, dragon dances, and vibrant celebrations fill the night.
The festival represents reunion, harmony, and hope! All under the glow of the full moon.
