Getting to be a mechanic

Making just a little bit of progress on the hot rod car. I have been a bit busy with work and stripping and refinishing a door but when I get home, apparently I am supposed to be a mechanic. Putting together this crankshaft and the Pistons is not fun at all. Lots of sanding and waxing going on here to make them move properly because that is what makes the engine go.

Wow this definitely does look complicated and a lot of work! But I have faith in you!

Thanks. This one is a lot of work. @ThaoNguyen

Neat, always cool to learn new stuff! I always tell people at work I’m a hobby carpenter, electrician, metal worker, etc as a joke because of all the different things you do while making miniatures!

Aren’t we all? I just love learning so many new things @Atropex

You’re doing amazing, @Nita_Davis!!! That crankshaft work looks intense, but the progress is really showing. Can’t wait to see this hot rod come together!

Thanks! @JDisaduck This one is definitely harder than the ROKR wooden models.

It was definitely tricky…LOL! @Wenbare

You are at the cruciale part. This needs to be perfect for it to run. You are becoming a mechanic and worked to be a electrician. We all learn new skills haha
