I’ve been quiet the past couple of days due to my mother being back in hospital and having to travel to see my parents.
I’m home again for now.
So, lots of housework to catch up on this morning and then I did a little more on my garage.
I’m changing a few things around including the checkered floor.
Every garage I have ever entered has never had a showroom floor like that.
Building the furniture came next. The pieces are very thin. I had a small amount of splintering but nothing obvious.
I’d been warned about the ladder and to be honest, I don’t believe it needs to be added to the garage anyway. I did have a go putting it together but gave up.
The brown cupboard was a little difficult but with a couple of dots of glue and gentle pressure, I managed to get it put together.
I’m still trying to find a way to get my printer to work so I can keep working on this.
With luck I should finish tomorrow evening.
I’m sorry to hear your mother is back in the hospital. I hope she’s doing better and that you’re able to get some rest too. Your garage is coming along nicely, and I completely agree about the checkered floor, customizing it to look more like a real garage makes so much sense!
So sorry to hear about your mother. That is a great idea on that concrete floor. You are making great progress. That cabinet with all the drawers was a booger to do.
