Of course i was for my country Belgium, didn’t watch the game because it was over night and i had to get up at 6 AM, but checking the score on my phone was the first thing i did after opening my eyes this morning, Proud to be a Belgian today more than ever, especially after the red card thing yesterday, so yes very proud the Belgium Red Devils showed what soccer is about, that it is about the game and not about a person not following the game rules or twisting the rules when it is convenient

and i don’t care what people will say in reactions to this post, sport is sport, not politics

if they are out on Friday, then that is that, for me this overnight game was the important one just to make a point

not going to discus the red card that was giving if it was right or wrong, red is red and then you don’t play then next match, and this is not only about this red card because it also happened with another player from another country a few weeks ago, red is red and then you don’t play the next match, these are the game rules

I was rooting for the USA but unfortunately they lost. This was the only game my dad watched because he heard if the USA team won, they would be in the quarterfinals.
