Fairytale Tree House - Update #1

Yes exactly, glue just feels safer and more solid sometimes
And I totally agree, neat glue makes all the difference. Your chair looks super clean and well done!

I find it really hard to have neat glue. especially those that are vert stringy and it just spread and caught onto every thing.

That’s one of my main issues with glue. I’ve recently found one I’m particularly comfortable using (the kind of liquid blue you can brush), but then again, it’ll spread like you said :stuck_out_tongue: I guess that’s why in the end I usually prefer double-sided tape, although I’m aware it’s not that useful depending on the situation and the material.

@TheToday I agree on the double sided tape. but it can only be use for certain area. glue can be use for more areas. That’s why to avoid spreading and mess I tried to hard to use the one with the smallest nozzle. but still, cannot avoid the mess. hehehe

It’s a complicated topic, isn’t it?
I mean, I’ve never really liked glue. And that’s the whole original reason why I’ve started buying Robotime! I was looking for models to build but every brand and shop will prompt you to use a lot of glue. And then I randomly found the Seahorse Barque through an Amazon search, I saw the “no glue needed” sign, and it was love at first sight

I was originally attract to Robotime because of the designs, colours, music, lights and yes No Glue. but overtime when I get hooked into it, it does not matter anymore. yes I would prefer not to use glue if I don’t have to but sometime we gotta to especially with Rolife kits.

Yes, you’re absolutely right. I guess I’m a fan of glue. Thanks a lot. I appreciate the compliment. :pink_heart:

I suggest you use a brush with tiny bristles. That’s what I do to achieve neat glue on my furnitures and it can make you spread the glue better.

It’s great that you bought that glue with brush. Maybe someday you can be a glue fan person.

I think that’s actually the only kind of glue I can be some kind of a fan of

Wahaha it looks like a nail polish but really useful. I think we don’t have that particular glue in my country. My favorite glue is only Elmer’s glue.

The thing i dont like using the brush is that the glue dried up and make the brush harden. Because I am a very fast builder that it dried up before I could finish.

Ohh I think the brush is only great on glues like Elmer’s, the one which looks like a liquid but I will not advise it for super glue or silicone glue. I pour the brush into the water when not in use so that the glue will not stick to the bristles because it can make them harder.

I have the white liquid glue as well and I’m just afraid it will ruin the brush. But I will try putting it in water when not in use to see if that will work.

So cute the details are fantastic.

I hope that they will work for you just like mine.

Thank you so much for the compliments. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Thank you. I hope so too. For now I’m using B7000.

You’re welcome. That’s a great glue also from what I’ve read from others though I haven’t tried it since I’m loyal to Elmer’s glue for now.

I also have E8000 which I heard it is better as well. But I haven’t use it yet.
