at first I did not think first test worked. I relooked at everything. Screwed circuit panel back down and retried.

I am so happy to here this Jeanne. It’s looking great. I wish you all the best for the next steps to come. When it comes to lighting…pay VERY strict attention to directions and follow them exactly.

Yes, take a break if you need to so you can recharge your self. 
I had the issue with the spring too, but I think it was on the melody tree and not this one! I couldn’t figure out for the life of me what was wrong!
It seems to be ok now if I just touch so that is good. I will move forward!

Luckily, you were able to fix it. It looks like it’s working fine. Once it’s all assembled, the power button will work better too.

I’ve been wondering how you were doing with this one! Looks nice so far to me. Don’t worry a lot about the push/touch spring; the “touch” thing is coming once you’ve covered it with the floor part.
PS: I always love how you decorate your photos!
I am always amazed at Robotime mechanisms. I made the same mistake as you when I did my first test run on this hehehe
