I completely understand, I ripped out over half my crochet to fix a mistake that I know the person I’m gifting it to would never notice - but I wouldn’t feel the same knowing it had a mistake in it that was obvious to me

Regardless though I’m sure it would have looked amazing, I’ve never customised anything and I don’t expect to be able to do something amazing but it will be fun to take part

Exactly! :joy: I know that feeling so well. Even if nobody else would ever notice the mistake, would know it was there, and that’s enough to drive me crazy. :sweat_smile:

And honestly, I think that’s the best way to approach the competition, just have fun with it! :heart: You don’t have to create something amazing or perfect. Customizing is all about experimenting and learning, and I’m sure you’ll surprise yourself once you get into it! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yes. I mean, I don’t care of the contest. Because I’m stilling making this for myself, as a decoration. And I can’t keep looking at it for the rest of my life and be frustrated over the floor. Omg this sounds crazy lol :joy::heart:

Haha, I completely understand the perfectionist struggle! Even when you know something won’t be very visible, your brain just won’t let you leave it alone. Hopefully the second attempt gives you that “yes, this is it” feeling, and at least you have a good excuse to buy more eggs!:heart:
