When I’m not building, I go to antique stores, do some thrifting or go to a dollar store. And so when I snagged Nemo, Dory and their Dolphin friend from the dollar store, I thought it’s time to let them play!
I used epoxy resin for the water and polymer clay to create coral rocks and used the old dish washing brush to make spores. I also used sand from Lake Tahoe beach.
mchipman, this is such a delightful little scene! Nemo, Dory, and their dolphin friend look right at home in their new dollar store adventure, and we love how you turned a thrifty find into something so playful. You have such a fun eye for giving tiny treasures a big story!
@mchipman, It’s lovely. I love the anime Nemo! This place inspired you so much as we can see in your previous publications that you can build anything around this theme. Well done .
My family and I wish one day to do a trip in the USA. But it’s bigger than Europe.
National parks in the US are worth visiting, so does the Tahoe lake
That sounds like such a fun little adventure outside of building! I love how you mix in thrifting, antique store browsing, and even dollar store finds—it’s like every outing has the potential to spark a new playful scene.
