[DIY & Creativity] Rowood Wooden Flower Basket 1/2

I have decided to build the Rowood Wooden Flower Basket this weekend in preparation for my upcoming Mother’s Day Pre-Celebration meetup on May 9. And I’m happy to announce that it’s fully booked :tada:

Anyways, I’ll be testing myself if I’ll be able to complete it in 3.5 hours as that’s the estimated time indicated for the build.

Each flower is packed separately together with its instructions, which I love because it makes it easier to go back to if you won’t be able to complete it.

I decided to start with the Chamomile flower first since I have not tried building this yet.

Instructions were straight forward and I have not broken a piece  it took me around 30 minutes to complete.

Next, I wanted to build the Pink Carnation.

We will be building a full bloom flower and a bud. This was quite hard to build and needed a lot of pushing. They even provided a tool for pushing. It took me an hour to complete this one.

For my last flower, I built the Pink Lily.

This bit is challenging when pushing the petals through the dot holes. It’s prone to breakage. But so far, I’m lucky I didn’t have any casualties for this session :joy:

It took me 30 mins to complete the Pink Lily.

That’s it for my 1st 2 hours. Will continue working on them again soon. Happy weekend everyone

The basket looks so pretty. I think this is so pretty with different flowers to the box.

Thanks for sharing! I’m also gonna be doing this kit soon in preparation for my meetup coming in a couple of weeks. Looks nice! And the beginning process is kind of the same as for the blooming book it seems, just with different flowers.

I surprised myself when I did this one, but I do not think I would do again! I did do alot of painting so this took me longer.

It’s looking lovely. I am happy to see that you are not adding the full stem…as you would have to pull half of it off later for installation.
