Why I included Prince in this kit? To pay homage to his impeccable talent, versatility in playing more than 20 instruments, writing memorable songs to other artists (example, Nothing Compares 2 U by Snead O’ Connor), and electrifying live performances.
Although Prince (1958-2016) is no longer with us, he will always be remembered for his musicality, sense of fashion, and his association with the color purple. It’s very fitting to add him in one of my favorite Super Creator kits thus far.
This is perfect! I love everything about it. He was such a talented performer. I will NEVER forget his performance at the Super Bowl (IN THE RAIN). For my second electric guitar wooden puzzle, I want to make mine somewhat like this. Beautiful work, Michelle…as always!
What a fun reveal! Prince is the perfect celebrity guest for the Midsummer Dream Yard. The purple theme fits beautifully, and I love the thoughtful tribute to his incredible talent and legacy. This is such a creative way to personalize the kit, and it turned out fantastic.
Thank you so kindly Nita! This year is the 10th anniversary of his passing and I’m still an eternal fan. I couldn’t think of a better way to honor him (and his association with “purple”) than to add him in this kit.
When I was head of the reunion committee a few years back I chose “Let’ Go Crazy” as our opening song to get the party started . I loved the beginning so much…“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through this thing called life”.
. Your extra touch to the kit is adorable Michelle. So great.
